2013 BCSLA Annual Conference, Showcase and AGM

The BCSLA premiere event of the year for landscape architects in BC was held April 26-27, 2013 at the Coast Coal Harbour Hotel in Vancouver.  Thank you to all the speakers, delegates, exhibitors and volunteers who helped to make the conference a huge success! 

Giving Back
In keeping with a longstanding traditon in lieu of speaker gifts BCSLA has made a donation in the name of conference speakers to the Stanley Park Ecology Society. The Society promotes awareness of and respect for the natural world and plays a leadership role in the stewardship of Stanley Park through collaborative initiatives in education, research and conservation.

3rd BC Land Summit: Collaborations & Connections

We look forward to seeing you at the 2014 BC Land Summit which will take the place of our annual conference.  This joint conference is organized by:

BC Chapter - Appraisal Institute of Canada
BC Institute of Agrologists
BC Society of Landscape Architects
Planning Institute of BC
Real Estate Institute of BC

It is anticipated that more than 1,200 delegates, presenters and exhbitors will attend.  The 2014 BC Land Summit will be held from May 14-16, 2014 at the Sheraton Wall Centre in Vancouver. 

The unique goal of the BC Land Summit is to facilitate, promote and build inter-disciplinary learning, shared understanding, networking and collaboration amongst land and land-use related professionals.
The program will be further organized under four key sub-themes, including:
•Food & Agriculture
•Law & the Land
•The Natural & Built Environment
•Water & the Land

The 2014 BC Land Summit Program Committee is hard at work planning and organizing the exciting conference program.
