'Uy' skweyul - good day everyone! Coast Salish First Nations Cultural Day celebrations take place on Salt Spring Island, Saturday Feb 21st. Admission and lunch for Salt Spring community/ visitors on these traditional lands is by donation, which will help with some of the honorariums and travel costs for those who are coming to share teachings. This is a kid and family friendly event. Many Elders, knowledge keepers, Drummers, Dancers and community members from local Salt Spring bands will be joining us for fun and engaging activities throughout the day!!
