Electrical Safety in Older Buildings Vancouver Heritage Foundation May 1, 2018 : 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm

Electrical systems of older homes and buildings can be an intimidating subject. However, does the discovery of knob-and-tube, aluminum wiring or 60-amp service really mean a re-wiring of the entire home? Brian Cook, founder and President of PowerCheck, leads this workshop, which will highlight key issues associated with various types of wiring and offer simple solutions to ensure the safety of older homes. Following the talk there will be time for an open discussion, giving participants an opportunity to ask questions. The event is happening at Creekside Community Centre (1 Athletes Way, Vancouver BC, V5Y0B1) and tickets are $25.
