Are you a professional whose first language is not English?
The Immigrant Services Society of BC (a nonprofit organization which has been operating since 1972) has received a license from the Provincial Government to offer a previously piloted series of Enhanced Language Training courses to immigrants and citizens.
The first course is Professional and Technical Oral English, and it is of interest to immigrant architects, engineers and technologists with upper intermediate to advanced level English (Canadian Language Benchmark 5 and up).
The course will start April 22, and will meet Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30 - 9:30 PM. It will cost participants $450 for 8 weeks (as ISSofBC is a nonprofit organization, we only need to cover our costs). Interested parties should call 604-684-2325 to register.
