Landscape Planning Limited is currently seeking an experienced and self motivated Intermediate Level Landscape Architect /Landscape Architectural Designer to join our team of professionals. Established in 1972, Landscape Planning Limited provides comprehensive landscape architectural services within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). The Firm’s commissions are wide ranging and include: Park design and development Subdivision streetscape and community identity Open space and trail design and master planning, Specialty recreation facility design, Residential condominium development Commercial and industrial development landscape design
Candidate Qualifications: The successful candidate must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience working in a professional office environment and will ideally have experience with design, site plan submissions, coordination of construction documents and some direct contract administration experience. The ideal candidate will be a self motivated individual and will possess strong communication and time management skills. Respondents will ideally be registered with the OALA as Associate members and be in the process of obtaining licensure through the L.A.R.E. process. Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the principal and senior staff, your responsibilities would include but not be limited to the following: Site inventory and analysis Graphic communication/preparation of presentation graphics Conceptual design, detailed design and the completion of construction drawings in Autocad Preparation of cost estimates Field administration and construction reporting Landscape Planning Limited offers a challenging work environment, competitive compensation as well as the opportunity for professional growth.
