Irrigation Design Technologist
The incumbent will work with an integrated team preparing detailed design and as-built plans for municipal, commercial, institutional and golf irrigation systems. Other duties will include preparing cost estimates, specifications, GPS mapping and construction inspection/administration.
A related post-secondary diploma/degree along with demonstrated proficiency with AutoCAD is required.
Knowledge or experience in site services, municipal standards, civil 3D, rainwater harvesting, and irrigation products and practices are definite assets, but we will train. A valid class 5 drivers license with a clean abstract is required.
Candidates shall possess the initiative, self-motivation and time management skills necessary to work effectively in a fast-paced consulting practice. Excellent communication skills, problem solving abilities and the capacity to work positively with others in a collaborative team environment is essential.
