Irrigation Designer/Project Manager

Irrigation Designer/Project Manager

Liaising with affiliated consultants and authorities, the incumbent will be leading a team of technologists in regional parks and advanced ICI landscape irrigation projects.  With proven success in design, project management and business retention, you will be responsible for client relations, and meeting schedule and budget expectations through effective management of internal resources. 

Education: 

A Degree or Technical Diploma in Landscape Architecture, Engineering, horticulture, turf management, or a related field is required.  Certified Irrigation Designer (CID) designation is required and other IA designations such as CLIA (Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor) or CLWM (Certified Landscape Water Manager) are definite assets.

Experience: 

Candidates should have a minimum 5 years irrigation experience in a landscape, engineering, municipal parks, or   golf  setting.  Experience with effluent/stormwater management, LEED rating system, municipal guidelines, or pumping systems is an asset.  Candidates should be proficient with MS Office applications.  AutoCAD is an asset.

Candidates shall possess the initiative, self-motivation and time management skills necessary to work effectively in a fast-paced consulting practice.  Excellent communication skills, problem solving abilities and the capacity to work positively with others in a collaborative team environment is essential.
