eta is seeking a intermediate level landscape architect or intern who is self motivated, creative, works well in team settings or independently, and who possesses the skills required to take on the leadership of projects as well as supporting others with technical and detail drawings as needed. Depending on skill level, the candidate may be responsible for projects from concept to completion. A strong design sense is a must.
Candidates for this position should have:
· A degree in Landscape Architecture from accredited program.
· Preference is given to candidates who are enrolled in and working towards completion of the Landscape Architecture Registration Exam (LARE) and attaining their professional registration with the BC Society of Landscape Architects.
· A portfolio that illustrates the diversity of work completed as a Landscape Architect or Intern and the applicant’s design, technical, and freehand graphic abilities.
• Strong technical knowledge and an understanding of construction.
• Strong organizational skills
· Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
· Computer experience (Vectorworks, Autocad, Word, Excel, InDesign, Photoshop). As eta is a Vectorworks based office, the successful candidate will be expected to become proficient if not already.
• An interest in working in project design teams comprised of other allied professionals
• A valid driver’s license for meetings and reviews
