M2 is looking for a landscape architect or experienced landscape designer who is self-starting, creative and enthusiastic. Position: Landscape Architect / Senior Landscape Designer
Responsibilities:
- Conceptual design for variety of projects.
- Coordination and collaboration with both clients, consultants and municipal representatives.
- Landscape design development for permit submissions, including detail design, grading, planting and hardscape plans.
- Estimating.
- Creating renderings in photoshop, sketch up or hand drawn perspectives.
- Work closely with a team in-house, to ensure projects are on-time and on-budget.
- Potential opportunities for project management
Professional degree in Landscape Architecture; Min. BA in Landscape Architecture
- 3-5 years experience in Landscape Architecture firm, Arborist experience an asset.
- Proficient in Autocad, proficiency in Photoshop preferred as well.
- Knowledge in plant material.
- Experience in technical detailing, drafting and construction practices.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Written and verbal skills in English required.
- Professional appearance and ability to work easily with clients, consultants and government.
- Eligible for membership to BCSLA
