Landscape Designer/Junior Landscape Designer - Focus in Graphics/Communications

Work within a team environment assisting in design creation for a wide-range of landscape architectural projects.  Position will have a focus in hand graphics, communications, and report writing.  Position will also assist project management staff on technical drawing creation.

• Assist in creating presentation graphics for parks and recreation and development projects
• Create hand sketches for public open houses and client communication
• Assist in development of planning documents and parks and recreation master plans through creation of content including graphics and layouts
• Creation of landscape plans using AutoCAD / Land F/X for all projects
• Assist project management staff in meeting design deadlines through drawing creation and coordination

Skills and Attributes:

• Ability to sketch and draw to communicate ideas
• Ability to create document layout and presentation graphics for public presentation
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite CS4 or later, ACAD 2012 or later and Sketch-Up
• Strong oral and written communication skills
