Advance your career and lead the Public Art Program at the City of Richmond. In this role you will act as the primary professional resource for public art by managing, coordinating, promoting, administering and implementing the Public Art Program for the City for public art initiatives associated with public- and private-sector developments. The Public Art Planner will coordinate the art selection process, providing curatorial oversight/input into public art projects, technical review and coordinating the installation of art work.

 

Education: 

Qualified applicants will have the following:

- Master’s degree in Arts Administration, Architecture, Urban Design, Landscape Architecture or a related field.

- Five years of professional experience in positions of similar responsibility.

- Experience working in a municipal government environment is desirable.
