M2 Landscape Architecture is an award-winning, busy and vibrant firm. We are looking for a Registered Landscape Architect or Senior Landscape Designer to add to our great team. The position is for a one-year maternity leave coverage, with the strong possibility of becoming permanent, as our company is growing.
The incumbent will be responsible for project management, i.e. reviewing and approving plans and reports, signing and sealing drawings, mentoring junior staff; producing conceptual designs, writing proposals and coordinating with in-house Certified Arborist and Business Manager. The position also involves significant liaising with clients and various stakeholders such as Architects, Engineers, contractors and municipalities.
Our office is located in a heritage building, Oldtown New West, close to skytrain.

BLA or MLA Landscape Architecture
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in a Landscape Architectural firm
- Experience with proposal writing, project management and construction documents
- Experience mentoring and supervising design staff
- A degree in Landscape Architecture
- Fluency with AutoCAD & Microsoft Office; Photoshop is an asset
- Strong writing and grammar skills; proficiency in English
- Organized and able to meet deadlines
- Strong communication and leadership skills
