O2 Planning + Design (O2) is an award winning multidisciplinary firm of landscape architects, regional and environmental planners, urban designers and urban planners. Responsibilities: -Provide project management for landscape architectural design projects - responsibilities include planning project timelines, fee schedules and deliverables, managing assigned staff, sub-consultant coordination, and client liaison -Complete or contribute to conceptual design, design development and construction documents including presentation graphics (hand drawn and computerized renderings) -Develop cost estimates by researching product prices, alternative products, and by making quantity take-offs using AutoCAD -Produce specifications -Perform construction administration requirements including field Inspections and construction reviews, change notices including required drawings and specifications, and field and meeting minutes as required -Participate in research and development of the company’s landscape architectural design capability -Perform quality control reviews for landscape architectural design projects
-An undergraduate or graduate degree in Landscape Architecture (Master's degree preferred)
-Minimum 8 years of experience in landscape architecture -Licensed member of a provincial landscape architecture association -Proficiency in computer aided drafting (AutoCAD drawings), computer rendering, site analysis and data collection, and construction administration -Excellent report writing, and strong communication and networking skills -Willingness to learn and work in a dynamic, deadline driven team environment
