Position: Landscape Designer / Landscape Architect
M2 Landscape Architecture is looking for a motivated landscape architect or landscape designer to join our growing firm! We are an energetic, busy private practice in New Westminster, British Columbia with a variety of interesting projects located all over the Lower Mainland, British Columbia and Alberta. We primarily focus on high density multi-family residential, commercial, seniors care and high-end single family residences.
We are looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic individual, who is self-starting, creative and enthusiastic. Our employees are encouraged to work as a team, share experiences and expertise and we have a friendly open work space. We encourage people to experience all aspects of project development, and have a very collabrative design style to encourage personal growth. We are close to skytrain, transit and parking and are located in the historic Old Town area of New Westminster, within a block of New Westminster Quay, in a beautiful brick heritage building.
M2 offers a competitive base salary, plus an excellent profit sharing program and benefits package. Remuneration will be commensurate with experience and certification.

Education: Professional degree in Landscape Architecture; Min. BA in Landscape Architecture
Experience: 3-5 years experience in Landscape Architecture firm, Arborist experience an asset (not required),
Proficiency in Autocad, proficiency in Photoshop preferred as well,
Experience in technical detailing, drafting and construction practices,
Strong organizational skills,
Ability to multi-task and review work with detail/precision,
Written and verbal skills in English required,
Professional appearance and ability to work easily with clients, consultants and government.
