Careers

If you are looking to fill a vacant position within your organization, or looking to find new career opportunities, here is the place to look. Please use due diligence when posting or responding to a listing. All listings are the sole responsibility of the person or organization who has listed the information. Please keep a record of the listing for your files as BCSLA does not keep a list of these postings.

Postings will be automatically deleted after 60 days. We welcome you to re-post any items once they have been deleted. If you would like to remove your posting, please contact the BCSLA office.

If you would like to post the employment listing in the BCSLA Friday File email newsletter please contact the BCSLA office by Thursday at 12:00 noon (the day before the email is published). Not all employers choose to list employment opportunities via that method. The posting may be edited due to space constraints.

Please use due care and diligence when posting a job or resume. In British Columbia, the use of the title “landscape architect(ure)" is restricted to individuals who have successfully completed the BCSLA admission program as per the Architects (Landscape) Act. For more information, please see BCSLA Bylaws.

Please be aware that information or content published online, including on the BCSLA website, is accessible to the public and any third party via the internet. It may be copied, saved, cached or otherwise archived by external third parties after it is removed from this site. The BCSLA accepts no responsibility or liability for such use of information or content from this site by any third party.

The Government of Canada Job Bank Website contains a wide variety of information, including tools for job seekers (Job Alerts, Job Match); tools for employers who wish to post an employment opportunity; as well as labour market information (trends, news). Under the Labour Market Information section of the website, which allows career exploration based on different criteria, the site also offers a ink from the Career Tool to the Career Navigator quizzes.

Work BC provides a comprehensive description of close to 200 occupations as they relate directly to the BC labour market.

BCSLA is a Living Wage Employer.  We encourage everyone to join the Living Wage for Families Campaign.
