CANARM, POLIS, and DeepRoot are combining efforts to bring LID technology and education to practitioners, decision-makers, and designers involved in rainwater and stormwater projects. You are invited to a half day seminar to learn about these techniques. Advance registration is required (link below).

“Ultra Urban LID solutions using suspended pavement systems”
This presentation will provide an overview of the essentials of integrating trees, soil, and stormwater for LID solutions. Through the use of case studies we will demonstrate how LID solutions save on capital budgets while increasing maintenance costs. We will also use case studies to show how suspended pavement systems can provide a middle way between these two extremes while opening the envelope with respect to where these systems can be applied.
Ken Nentwig, Canadian Association for Rainwater Management
“Closing the gaps in rainwater management”
While provincial and municipal regulations or guidelines are in place or in progress, practitioners are often without adequate direction. Rainwater system design and implementation requires accurate and complete standards, best practices, and open communication between all parties involved. Training and certification has been developed to meet these demands.
Moderated by Kirk Stinchcombe of POLIS.
