April 2017 Sitelines - Landscape Influx

In this edition students in the UBC Master of Landscape Architecture program – present a sample of their research and design projects that show once again the role of landscape architecture in large scale sustainable design while challenging the dualism between ecology and aesthetic.  Genevieve Depeteau, BCSLA Student Representative graciously served as Guest Editor.  

Congratulations to Brendan Buchannan Dee!  He was selected as the $1,000  award winner of the Philip Tattersfield Essay Writing Scholarship for his essay entitled The Evolution of Piazza Italia that is included in Sitelines this month..  

The April edition includes profiles of Moura Quayle, FCSLA, MBCSLA and Doug Paterson, FCSLA, LMBCSLA.  A huge thank to Doug, Moura and Don Vaughan for working on this program!
