Design & Play - a book of extraordinary playscapes

Tuesday, June 27, 2017

Hapa Collaborative and the City of Richmond - Local Government have been working with the Design Museum Foundation in Boston to contribute content for their travelling exhibit called Extraordinary Playscapes, a roaming exhibit featuring 40 playscapes and play environments around the world, including the Terra Nova Play Environment in Richmond. The Museum has toured the exhibit in Boston, Portland, and San Francisco, and it’s been so successful that Chicago, Seattle, and Dallas are planned for later this year.

The Museum is now launching a Kickstarter campaign to fund the publishing of a book called Design & Play, that features all of the playscapes in the exhibit including Terra Nova. Hapa Collaborative has donated an initial $500 to the campaign and would appreciate it if you could share this with any like-minded colleagues. We encourage you to make a donation, large or small. A $65 contribution gets you a copy of the book.

We hope you can help make it happen! The donation page and the video describing the project is here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/116675903/design-and-play-a-book-of...
