We are looking for the following position:
CAD Technician / Graphic Specialist (Full-Time)
We are looking for a driven and meticulous CAD Technician (2-4 years’ experience) to join our landscape design team. A post-secondary diploma in Drafting Technology or a degree in architecture/landscape architecture is preferred. LOCI is seeking team members who can work in a collaborative setting. You will demonstrate a well-rounded skill set with experience in detailing, technical support, writing and document production. You are detail-oriented, adaptable, and passionate about innovative design, willing to learn and have fun in a team environment.
In addition, we are looking for applicants who display the following skills:
- Extensive experience in CAD-related software (proficiency in Vectorworks is preferred);
- Experience in Creative Suite, SketchUp, 3D Software (i.e., BIM, Rhino), and Lumion;
- Excellent organizational skills;
- Experience in preparing drawing/CAD standards that apply to multiple project types;
- Strong computer skills to produce effective drawing sets and refine design drawings;
- Time management of various projects with conflicting demands;
- A willingness to resolve problems quickly and efficiently;
- Able to work well with others in a collaborative environment.
