M2 Landscape Architecture is an award winning firm providing both landscape architecture and arborist services in both British Columbia and Alberta. We primarily focus on multi-family residential / mixed use, elder care and health institutions and high end single family residences.
We are looking for a Junior landscape designer who is self-starting, creative and enthusiastic. Position: Junior Landscape Designer
Responsibilities:
Work in collaboration with designers in office for variety of projects and training in multiple phases of construction projects
Preliminary design, planting plans, grading and storm-water management plans, existing tree management plans, detailing; under direction with senior staff
Coordination and collaboration with both clients, consultants and municipal representatives.
Estimating.
Creating renderings in photoshop, sketch up or hand drawn perspectives.
Work closely with a team in-house, to ensure projects are on-time and on-budget.

Education: Professional degree in Landscape Architecture. Masters in Landscape Architecture preferred
Experience:
1-3 years experience in Landscape Architecture firm
Proficient in Autocad, familiar with Photoshop, InDesign
Knowledge in plant material
Experience in technical detailing, drafting and construction practices an asset
Strong organizational skills
Written and verbal skills in English required
