About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Play Specialist to join our growing team. This is a client-facing role that blends sales, relationship development, and playground design support in a fun, creative, and highly rewarding industry.
As a Play Specialist, you’ll work closely with municipalities, schools, developers, and Landscape Architects to bring playground projects from early conversations through to award. You will collaborate directly with our in-house playground designer, helping translate client needs, site constraints, and budgets into engaging, inclusive play environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with municipalities, schools, developers, and Landscape Architects
- Lead sales efforts from initial inquiry through concept development, pricing, and project award
- Work closely with our playground designer to support the development of playground layouts and concepts
- Present products, concepts, and solutions to clients and consultant teams
- Support design conversations by understanding site conditions, accessibility requirements, and play objectives
- Identify new business opportunities and grow market presence across BC
- Represent the company at meetings, presentations, site visits, and industry events
- Coordinate internally with design, project management, and installation teams to ensure successful delivery
Qualifications & Experience
- Background in Landscape Architecture or Landscape Architecture Technology is a strong asset
- Experience in sales, client development, or a design-adjacent role
- Comfortable working with Landscape Architects and other consultants
- Outgoing, relationship-focused, and sales-driven personality
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Creative thinker with the ability to connect design intent to client needs
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities independently

Salary
This position pays between $65,000 and $100,000 based on level of experience.
