What are Indigenous Knowledge Systems - and how can they fight climate change?

Deborah McGregor, the Canadian Reserach Chair in Indigenous Environmental Justice, states "One of the things scientists recognize is that 80% of the world's biodiversity is in the lands that Indigenous people steward, and manage, and control and govern."  Obviously the knowledge is maintaining ecological integrity.
