2021 Margolese National Design for Living Prize Ceremony UBC School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture Oct 22, 2021 : 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm

UBC School of Architecture + Landscape Architecture will present the 2021 Margolese National Design for Living Prize to ecological designer and urban planner, Nina-Marie Lister, at a free hybrid event on Friday, October 22 at 6:30pm PDT. 

The $50,000 Margolese Prize is awarded annually to a Canadian citizen who has leveraged design to do something remarkable for the built environment and Lister is being recognized this year for her commitment to ecological design for biodiversity and climate resilience as well as connecting people to nature in cities. 

The event will comprise a presentation of Lister's work, and a panel discussion with distinguished design professionals and academics: Jill Anholt, Julia Czerniak, Kees Lokman and Mary Rowe.
