Join us for our conference next year - the interdisciplinary 2024 BC Land Summit - Collaborations & Connections - from May 8 - 10, 2024, at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre in Nanaimo, BC.

The Call for Program & Presentation Proposals is Now Open
The BC Land Summit Society - of which our profession is a founding member organization - is proud to present next year's conference.  Held every five years, the BC Land Summit is the premier collaborative conference providing interdisciplinary networking, education, professional development, and training opportunities for professional practitioners in fields related to land and land-use in British Columbia and beyond.

Program Elements
We are pleased to invite you to submit your proposal for inclusion in the 2024 BC Land Summit program.  We are seeking a mix of conference program elements - conference sessions, “deep dive” sessions, pre-conference training workshops and off-site mobile workshops or tours. Program elements will vary in length and format, depending upon the type of element.

We encourage all members, practitioners, emerging professionals and other professionals to participate in this fantastic interdisciplinary conference and networking event. Collaborate with professional colleagues and propose a session or program element for next year's exciting conference.

Key Information - Know Before You Submit
Before getting started and making your submission, please ensure you have the following key information for a complete submission:

  • Presenter & Co-Presenter(s) Details: Name, contact information, basic biographical information.
     
  • Type of Program Element: Session, workshop, tour, etc.
     
  • Program Element Details: Title, description, learning outcomes, interactivity, etc.
     
  • Special Requirements: Any special audio-visual, technical, or room set-up requirements.
