Level 1 Basic CPTED Course Liahona Security Oct 17, 2022 : 8:30 am to Oct 20, 2022 : 4:30 pm

This Basic Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) course will provide participants with a solid, practical, working knowledge of CPTED Principles and Strategies. 1st, 2nd and 3rd Generation CPTED, Community CPTED and SafeGrowth® theory, concepts and terminology will be covered. 

To understand the direct relationship between the Physical Environment and Crime and Disorder and real-world strategies to create Safer more Productive Environments and an Increased Quality of Life.

Subjects will be taught in classroom and field trip settings, utilizing audio, visual and site inspection techniques and experiences. The bulk of participant learning will be done in a "hands on" manner, utilizing individual and syndicate projects. 

The Level I Basic CPTED Course is a pre-requisite for the Level 2 Advanced CPTED Course and the Level 3 Certification Course to become a Certified CPTED Practitioner (CCP).
