SFU CITY103 Transportation Planning Foundations SFU Continuing Studies (The City Program) Jan 25, 2024 : 6:00 pm to Feb 15, 2024 : 8:30 pm

Transportation involves the myriad multimodal ways in which goods and people move. In general, transportation planning involves undertaking strategy, analysis, conceptual or schematic design, planning, monitoring, and engagement. This course focuses on the professional practice and process of transportation planning, including a high-level overview of transportation governance in metro Vancouver, and best practices in planning for transit, active transportation, driving and parking, goods movement, and new mobility.
