Designer (0-3 years experience)

Space2place is looking for a designer who wants to solve meaningful problems and create beautiful, functional, and engaging public spaces.  Space2place is a learning and teaching environment.  You will learn how to improve as a designer, challenge convention, and how to take and give feedback.

Ideal candidate will be self motivated, a good communicator, well organized and have a strong sense of design.  Individuals with a multidisciplinary background are encouraged to apply.  Candidates with an ecological background and/or 3d modelling expertise will be given priority.  

 We are a small studio and everyone who works here has to be motivated, adaptable and have the ability to collaborate with others.  

The person we’re looking for has:

- a keen intellectual curiosity, with an ability to learn quickly.  

- an interest in designing and documenting complex regenerative landscapes.  

- a high standard for their own work, and knows how to get things done.

- the ability to evaluate what makes a place successful.

- an interest in invention and understanding how things work.

Type: This is a permanent, full-time job beginning as soon as we find the right person.
