Experienced Landscape Architect

How you'll make a difference:

  • Exploration of innovative design solutions as part of the creative process within a collaborative and multi-disciplinary team dynamic
  • Lead the implementation process of complex, high profile, integrated design projects across the Lower Mainland
  • Resolve complex technical and design issues with project teams  
  • Deliver projects efficiently and effectively through inspirational leadership of the landscape architecture team members
  • Support the continued development of in-house expertise and methodologies
  • Exploration of innovative design solutions as part of the creative process within a collaborative and multi-disciplinary team dynamic 
  • Ongoing development of expertise in technical design and detailing
  • Leadership role in developing client relationships and team communication and management

Who you are:

  • A graduate degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture or Urban Design 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in landscape architecture or designing spaces in the public realm, ideally in a consulting environment 
  • Registered Landscape Architect is preferred 
  • Experience with AutoCAD is required  
  • Experience with Revit is preferred
  • Able to lead small projects and teams with minimal supervision, including scope development, team management, consultant coordination and client management  
  • Experience in project planning, design, technical production, and construction contract administration  
  • Experience with site reviews and the implementation phases of a project
  • Experience with technical detailing and specifications for projects, and the ability to create high quality working drawings
  • Strong visual and graphic communication skills a desirable asset   
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on effective collaboration and integration
