Intermediate Landscape Architect

BENCH Site Design is seeking an intermediate landscape architect with a minimum of 5 years of work experience to join our 8-person team in Kelowna, BC. The successful candidate must have an excellent design sense and an enthusiasm for organization, collaboration, and learning. Experience managing a range of project scales from schematic design through contract administration is required. Expertise in producing complex construction documentation and construction services would be considered an asset. Applicants for this position should possess the following:

  • Registered BCSLA landscape architect
  • A degree in landscape architecture, or a diploma in landscape architectural technology
  • 5 years of professional experience working in a landscape architecture office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superb time management and organizational skills, and an ability to prioritize tasks personally and for others within a constantly evolving workflow
  • Experience in managing projects from master planning through detailed design scales, and from schematic design through contract administration
  • Class 5 BC drivers license (or equivalent)
  • Curiosity, empathy, and a sense of humour
