We are seeking an Intermediate Landscape Designer to join the Paul Sangha Creative team. We are an award-winning landscape architectural practice focused on crafting experiential landscapes for private and public spaces. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and fast-paced team environment, gain experience in multiple facets of the profession, as well as on a wide range of styles and projects, both locally and internationally.
Recommended Qualifications:
- University degree in Landscape Architecture / Architecture or recognized equivalent
- 5+ years of professional experience in a Landscape Architecture / Architecture firm
- Membership or eligibility for membership with British Columbia Society of Landscape Architects
- Proficient in computer drafting (Vectorworks preferred) and highly organized in file management
- Display proficiency in hand drawings considered an advantageous skill
- Strong computer proficiency in SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite (familiarity with Lumion 3D an asset)
- Possess project management expertise, demonstrate exceptional design and graphic abilities, and be capable of producing precise and meticulous working drawings
- Detail oriented with effective communication skills, as well as a strong aptitude for teamwork and leadership
- Experience in leading and supervising team members in executing technical work
- Enthusiastic, committed, willing to learn and is a team player
The Intermediate Landscape Designer position includes, but is not limited to the following duties:
- Participating in the creation of conceptual plans and executing detailed design documents, permit applications, contract/construction documents, and overseeing construction administration
- Taking ownership and responsibility for managing projects from start to finish
- Coordinating and actively participating in design meetings, client and consultant meetings, and conducting thorough site reviews
