Intermediate Level Landscape Designer / Project Coordinator (Full-Time)
We are looking for a driven and self-motivated person with a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture and 3-5 years’ experience in a landscape architecture office. Ideally, you have exceptional communication and design skills, with experience in the technical execution of projects with a high degree of quality and accuracy. You have experience as a project coordinator, working collaboratively with staff and directly with the Senior Designer/Project Manager, as well as the Principal. Some experience in producing construction documentation, detailing, specifications and field services will be considered an asset.
In addition, for this position we are looking for applicants who display the following skills:
- You display proficiency in Vectorworks, Creative Suite, 3D software and Lumion;
- You have experience working in various stages of a project, including schematic design, design development, permitting, pricing, and contract document phases;
- You have excellent communication and organizational skills;
- You display the ability to manage your time and efficiency working on multiple projects at once;
- You have a strong interest in institutional, development, public realm, infrastructure and residential work;
- You have a growing experience and willingness to travel to various project sites during Contract Administration and Field Review (a valid BC Drivers licence is considered an asset);
- An interest in completing your BCSLA registration is considered an asset.
