L.A. West is a landscape architectural design firm comprised of Landscape Architects, Senior Design Professionals and Technologists providing landscape architectural services across Western Canada.
With offices in Calgary, Red Deer and Kamloops, our team is currently seeking a candidate for our Kamloops office.
Coupled with a strong work ethic and positive attitude, candidates shall also possess the following qualifications:
- Member (or eligibility for membership) with the British Columbia Society of Landscape Architects (BCSLA);
- Interest in managing and overseeing the day-to-day operation of the office and staff;
- Ability to prepare/assist with proposals in response to RFPs;
- Clear understanding of project development, design development and contract preparation and administration.
Candidates shall have a degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university.
Candidates shall have a minimum of 5 – 10 years of experience with a strong understanding of the design, approvals and implementation process. The candidate's ability to take design concepts through detailed design and ultimately implementation and construction will be considered an asset.
Candidates shall have expertise / competency with industry software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe, MS Office or other design office software applications); graphic production / 3D rendering is considered an asset.
