How you'll make a difference:

  • Leverage your creativity, passion, and a positive energy to collaboratively solve complex design and technical challenges;
  • Explore sustainable, context-sensitive, and innovative design solutions as part of our collaborative, multi-disciplinary creative process;  
  • Collaborate within an integrated design team, both in leading and supporting projects from conceptual design through to detailed design and construction documentation;
  • Provide tender and procurement support;
  • Provide oversight, management, and execution of construction administration services;  
  • Actively contribute to the development of the team through collaboration, support, mentorship, and commitment to learning; and
  • Reinforce DIALOG's commitment to excellence throughout the design and project delivery process.

Who you are:

  • An undergraduate or graduate degree in Landscape Architecture (BLA or MLA); 
  • Licensed member (or eligible for licensure) with the British Columbia Society of Landscape Architects;
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in landscape architecture, ideally in a consulting environment; 
  • Superior design and technical knowledge with the ability to hit the ground running;
  • Expertise in using a wide range of design tools from digital to hand sketching (experienced with Revit and Adobe Suite is preferred);
  • Excellent written, verbal, and graphic communication skills;
  • Able to lead small projects and teams with minimal supervision, including scope development, team management, consultant coordination and client management;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Adaptable and comfortable with change - nimble to respond to varying project needs;
  • A self-motivated, quick learner with an entrepreneurial spirit that takes initiative and is proactive;
  • Someone who values collaboration, diversity, aspiration, and optimism.
