Our landscape architecture team is seeking an enthusiastic Landscape Architecture Consultant to join our growing professional practice in Calgary. Our inter-disciplinary design team is invested and committed to delivering high quality work on exciting and challenging public realm projects that create identity and foster resilience in communities.

As a result, we have an even greater opportunity and responsibility to make a difference through the work we do every day and the meaningful relationships we build with municipalities, developers, Indigenous communities, and Not-for-Profit organizations across the prairies.
As a valued member of our practice, you will get to contribute by:
- Communicating and collaborating with internal and external project teams
- Reviewing and implementing municipal guidelines and standards
- Preparing and reviewing detailed design drawings including custom construction details and specifications
- Supporting the preparation of conceptual design packages and visualizations using hand and computer rendering techniques
- Performing site inspections, attending construction meetings and support the administration of construction contracts
- Identifying risks and troubleshooting potential solutions
- Advocating for the importance of the landscape architecture industry and assisting in raising the profile of the practice
Our preferred candidate will have a minimum of a diploma in Landscape Architectural Technology or university degree in Landscape Architecture who is early in their career and committed to ongoing personal and professional development.
The following attributes would be key to success in this role:
- Knowledge in design, detailing, grading, construction specifications
- Experience using 3D modeling software (hand drawing skills are an asset)
- Experience with Revit (an asset)
- A Class 5 BC Drivers license (required)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage workloads of multiple projects while prioritizing deliverable deadlines
- Enthusiasm and ability to participate in a collaborative approach to design projects
- Proactive in the achievement and development of personal and professional goals
- Passionate about landscape architecture, design, drafting and illustration
