The Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) is inviting qualified teams to provide proposals for services in support of the design and construction of an exciting park redevelopment project, located at Rainbow Park, 5778 Alta Lake Road, Whistler BC.
Rainbow Park is a popular destination park located on a site with a long history of outdoor recreation pre-dating Whistler Village itself. The redevelopment of Rainbow Park seeks to align the park with the pressures of increasing visitation to ensure it will be robust, resilient and engaging for years to come. As demands and visitation have changed, so too must the structure and function of the park.
The RMOW requires the services of a multi-disciplinary consultant team preferably led by a Prime Consultant registered Landscape Architect, skilled and with demonstrated prior experience in the design, analysis and programming of destination park and outdoor recreational spaces of a similar scale, nature and value. This is a rare opportunity to be involved in the redevelopment of one of Whistler’s major destination parks.
