Warehouse Campus Neighbourhood Central Park - Procurement Open!
The City of Edmonton has launched procurement to select a consultant to design an exciting new park and washroom facility in downtown Edmonton, the Warehouse Campus Park. Additionally, as part of the project adjacent laneways and roads are to be designed and integrated with the park development.
Located in the Downtown Warehouse District, the new park will cover 1.73 hectares (4.27 acres), or just over two football fields, and is located west of 106 Street, extending beyond 107 Street, between Jasper Avenue and 102 Avenue.
The vision for Warehouse Campus Neighbourhood Central Park is that it will be an urban oasis and an inclusive, multi-use green space featuring large, open areas that invite citizens and visitors to reflect and explore.
The City will use a two-stage procurement process to select a consultant for the project, a pre-qualification followed by a request for proposals.
The first stage of procurement, officially opened on April 26 with a submission deadline of May 25.
We encourage the design community to visit edmonton.ca/WarehouseCampusPark to learn more about the project.
