Metro Vancouver is seeking planning, design, and construction support services for new and existing areas of Iona Beach Regional Park. The scope of work will encompass park master planning tasks, design of identified park amenities and ecological restoration projects, and construction support services. Planning and design will progress through an integrated design and development process in consultation with the Corporation, members of the Iona Island Wastewater Treatment Plant (IIWWTP) Projects team, tenure holders, regulatory agencies, First Nations, and stakeholders.
Metro Vancouver is seeking consulting firms with extensive multi-disciplinary park planning, design, construction, and permitting experience of large natural areas involving ecological restoration of terrestrial, freshwater, and estuary areas in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia. The selected respondents from the RFQ stage will be requested to provide proposals in the Request for Proposal (RFP) stage. The selected Respondent from the RFP stage (the Proponent) will, in a phased approach, support the Corporation with planning, design, and construction support services based on the conceptual designs that were developed during the IIWWTP Project Definition phase.
