SFU CITY107 Fundamentals of Architecture SFU Continuing Studies (City Program) Oct 27, 2025 : 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm

Architecture plays an important role in shaping our cities and directly affects our relationship with and understanding of the spaces we inhabit.

This course offers an introduction to the purpose, theory and practice of architecture that will allow you to begin engaging with architecture and converse using design language.

You will learn about key architectural figures and styles, basic architectural terms, design tools and considerations. You will also learn how to read architectural drawings and discover the steps required to design and construct a building in British Columbia.
