HORTICULTURE INSTRUCTORS

HORTICULTURE INSTRUCTORS – Competition Number 18-169

Kwantlen Polytechnic University’s (KPU) Faculty of Science and Horticulture is currently seeking Non-Regular Type 1 (Contract) Instructors to be added to the Horticulture Qualified Faculty List and to teach one or a combination of the following Horticulture courses beginning in January 2019.

HORT 1110  Introduction to Sustainable Horticulture

·        

HORT 2427  Sustainable Landscape Design II

·        

HORT 2442  Arboriculture II

The program curriculum and success of KPU’s graduates have established the Horticulture Technology Diploma and Bachelor of Horticulture Science degree as highly valued credentials in the workplace. The diploma and degree programs combine theoretical and technical sciences with the hands-on practice of applied horticulture. For more information about the programs, go to www.kpu.ca/hort

Education: 

Preference will be given to individuals with a post graduate degree and experience teaching in a post-secondary horticulture or agriculture program. It is understood that instructors have specializations and that not all instructors will be qualified to teach all courses listed above.

Experience: 

Please e-mail a letter of application, a current curriculum vitae, and copies for post-secondary transcripts, quoting competition number 18-169 by November 25, 2018 to [email protected].

In your letter, please also include the courses you are applying to teach.
