Jonathan Losee Ltd is a too busy 3-person Vancouver based landscape architecture firm. Our professional practice is rooted in a deep respect for the natural environment, strong technical understanding and joy in playing with design ideas. 

Our work ranges from institutional to commercial and multi-family residential, with specialities in urban design, child-friendly landscapes, and ecological restoration.  We have an open studio-like office environment with lots of opportunity for sharing ideas and finding solutions. As a small firm, everyone is involved in all aspects of the design management and construction process. We enjoy collaboration and work closely with a wide range of consultants, visual artists and trades. 

We are looking for a Landscape Architect or intern on the road to registration, with a minimum of 8 years of experience. You should have extensive site work experience, strong design and technical knowledge including construction detailing and grading, understanding of contract administration, and the ability and enthusiasm to meet challenging project deadlines and responsibilities. You would be a good fit if you are self-motivated, confident, light-hearted, a good communicator, with good client rapport, artistic, and enjoy listening to music, podcasts and sometimes silence while working. 

This position is for a full- time designer/project manager. Our office offers a flexible work schedule that can suit the employee’s needs.  We work in Vectorworks, and you must be fluent in Vectorworks or can prove that you are a very quick learner. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
